SAFE INTERNATIONAL is a registered charity in England and Wales (no. 1110102), regulated by The Charities Commission. We are also a company registered with Companies House as a Private Limited Company by guarantee without share capital (no. 05436164). SAFE INTERNATIONAL is the joint partner and sole funding body of the NGO Children’s Transformation Project-Kenya, a registered NGO in Kenya dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and families through global partnerships.

  • Financial Supporters/Donors/Child Sponsors: We collect personal details including name, address, email, phone number, financial information for payments, and Gift Aid declarations. For organisational partners, we collect the organisation’s name and contact details. This information is used to process donations and communicate updates. 
  • Job/Volunteering Applicants: We collect contact email addresses and relevant application information, shared only with staff involved in recruitment and used solely for this purpose.


How We Keep Your Personal Data Secure 

We implement measures to protect your data from theft, loss, or unauthorised use. Your rights regarding your personal data include:

  • Requesting a copy of your data
  • Requesting correction of inaccurate or outdated data

Data may be shared internally within SAFE INTERNATIONAL for service delivery. We may also use third-party services and platforms like Donorfy for donations, and you should review their privacy policies separately. If we need to use your data for new purposes, we will provide a new privacy notice and seek your consent.


How Long We Keep Your Personal Data 

We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected. Gift Aid declarations and related financial paperwork are kept for up to 6 years. Data from website interactions is retained for up to 2 years for analytical purposes. You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing info@safeint.org with “UNSUBSCRIBE” in the subject line. We will respond within 2 weeks.
