“My name is Edwin, and my journey with SAFE INTERNATIONAL (formerly KCP) began when I was just 6 years old, back in 2006. Life before that was far from easy. My family struggled daily to meet our basic needs, and we were trapped in a cycle of hardship and uncertainty.

Everything changed when the team at SAFE INTERNATIONAL reached out to us. They didn’t just provide immediate aid; they offered us long-term support and believed in a brighter future for us. They understood the importance of family and community, and instead of keeping us within their facilities, they worked tirelessly to reintegrate me and my siblings back into our family, helping to strengthen us as a unit.

The organisation supported my education throughout primary and secondary school and continued their support through college. In September 2020, I embarked on a journey towards a Diploma in Medical Department Technology, and in 2023, I proudly graduated.

Looking back on my journey, I am filled with immense gratitude for SAFE INTERNATIONAL and the incredible support I received over the years from all the supporters. Their care and encouragement were crucial in shaping both my childhood and my future. As an adult, I never imagined I would achieve so much, but with your help, I reached goals I once thought were out of reach.
