MEET WINNIE

"When I was 15, I was forced to get married to an older man who, in turn, would pay my school fees. I had to run away to my Aunt's place in another County. I reported the situation to the Chief and my Pastor, but the man who I was forced to marry bribed the authority and was set free."

Winnie's story highlights the harsh realities faced by many young girls in our communities. Forced marriage shouldn't be a barrier to education and freedom. At SAFE, we stand with survivors like Winnie, providing support, advocacy, and empowerment to break free from harmful situations.

Collectively, we can elevate awareness, champion for transformation, and establish a more secure space for those at risk. Our efforts will be dedicated to safeguarding and preventing such incidents while actively shaping community reform to eradicate forced marriage and abuse.

Join us in supporting survivors and working towards a brighter, more inclusive future for all.
